THIS IS Our Story
This Is Dance Music started in a classroom at University of Southern California, where co-founders Nima Cheraghi and Jorge Duarte bonded over their love for the Los Angeles dance music scene.
Cheraghi had spent most of his life songwriting, engineering, and performing live music, while Duarte was masterful at DJing and music production. Their skills complemented each other and made for unique and exciting songs and sets.
After being able to help friends improve on their songwriting, productions, and performances, Duarte and Cheraghi agreed that they should start their own group to scale out what they did.
